‘Tis the season for year-end posts, so I thought I’d highlight 15 of my notable moments from the year. Considering my blogging throughout the year has been erratic, I figured I can cover all the moments I missed. 2015 was full of big accomplishments, exciting surprises, and travels near and far. If I do this right, I’ll post the 15 leading up to New Year’s Day 2016.
#1: Conquering my Fear of Heights
If I have one significant accomplishment for 2015, it would be conquering my fear of heights. In July, I rode in a blimp and a helicopter. Later, I used a lift to get on a roof of a building. Now, don’t get me wrong — I don’t plan on skydiving or anything dangerous any time soon — but I couldn’t have imagined doing any of these things when 2015 started.
I’m glad I could share the first two — the blimp and helicopter rides — with my friend Dawn, because we were both slightly terrified. But, when all was said and done, we walked away with smiles.
Did you conquer any fears this year? Accomplish anything you never thought you would when 2015 started?
