Home for the Holidays

This holiday season, Michigan was hit with a devastating snow and ice storm the weekend before Christmas. There was at least 300,000 homes without power the day after the storm, which left many trees down and power lines damaged. On Christmas Day, over 150,000 homes still remained without power, including my parents home in southeast Michigan. Although it wasn’t our usual holiday celebration, we made the best of the situation, with some help from our generator. Making the best of the situation also included going outside and exploring the beautiful snow and ice covered landscape. I took a ton of pictures. I’ve posted a few to instagram, but I have a few others to share today. Enjoy!
