Favorite Friday: World War Memorial

I realized at our most recent Indy Igers instameet that I take a lot of stinkin’ pictures of the Indiana World War Memorial. This is in part because it is a beautiful building, but also because I find myself driving or walking past it in frequent intervals since beginning working downtown. One of my new favorite places to run is up and down the steps of the Memorial, to energize myself and enjoy the beautiful view of downtown Indy from the balcony.

Here is a selection from my photographs of the World War Memorial. For those of you coming to Indianapolis this fall for the National Preservation Conference, you must check out the inside AND outside of this iconic Indianapolis building.
