One of downtown Indianapolis’ true treasures is the Indiana World War Memorial Plaza. Since I started working downtown, I’ve spent some time really getting to enjoy every part of the landscape. No matter where you are standing in the Plaza, you can view several beautiful historic buildings, including the Central Library, World War Memorial, Scottish Rite Cathedral, and the Birch Bayh Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse. There are unique and beautiful individual features, including the Depew Memorial Fountain (1919), Cenotaph Square, and Obelisk Square. This space has quickly become my go-to place to enjoy lunch on a beautiful day.
